Welcome To Foot Care with Molly
Leaving your feet feeling happy and healthy
Providing general foot check-ups, assessments, and foot care needs requiring specialist treatment.
Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) registered and Royal College of Podiatry insured.
*Please note, from September 2023, Foot Care with Molly services will transition into Braintree Podiatry. Molly will still be the leading podiatrist operating the home visit service.
Treatments & advice are offered via home visit, hospital visit, in a clinic or virtually.
Some services may vary depending on the venue of delivery:
Thickened nail care
Corns & callouses
Fungal nail care & surgery
Plantar fasciitis advice
General foot care & advice
Diabetic foot care & advice
Diabetic foot health assessments (includes a report to GP)
Ingrown nail care & surgery
Verrucae (& advice)
Home visits are my most popular request and can be booked as an initial or regular appointment.
I allocate 1 hour with my clients per home visit to ensure neither my client nor myself are rushed.
Home visits are £50-55 depending on travel distance. For an additional client at the same address, I offer a reduced appointment rate of £35 for treatment.
Hospital visits are no more costly than a home visit appointment, however, I will ask for any car parking fees incurred to be covered.
I always ensure to liaise with the health care team on the ward to help support my client's care plan.
I collaborate with two podiatry/chiropody clinics within Essex.
The Dunmow Foot Clinic - providing nail surgeries;
Braintree Podiatry - as the new director.
Additionally to my regular treatments, surgical treatments for ingrown toenails, and fungal nails, are undertaken at either venue. I also recommend treating verrucae in the clinic setting as opposed to a home visit, where we now offer SWIFT treatment at the Braintree Practice.
This is the newest service provided.
I recommend this service for advice-related appointments, including plantar fasciitis, diabetes or verrucae.
Virtual appointments are £25 for 30 minutes.
Hello! My name is Molly Chilvers and I qualified as a Podiatrist from the University of East London with an Honours Degree in Podiatry in 2019. Not a profession for everyone, but certainly for me after undergoing surgery to correct my own ingrown toenails at 10 years old!
After completing my training in the NHS, I have continued my professional growth in the private sector, where I have developed a special interest in geriatric foot care, and health promotion.
I am currently studying for my MSc in Advancing Practice in Community Health and Well-being, alongside growing my business, and keen to use this learning to benefit my local community's health. I'm pleased to say, as of March 2023, I have started a joint adventure with my colleague, Juan Catano Meneses, as new directors of Braintree Podiatry. You can find out more about my colleague on his website:
